2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Vehicle Collision on Ben Franklin Bridge

Philadelphia (July 4, 2017) – A multi-vehicle crash occurred Tuesday last week on Ben Franklin Bridge sending at least two people to a hospital in Philadelphia, authorities said.

The incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, on the southbound side of Ben Franklin Bridge.

The manner in which the accident occurred was not immediately determined, but the report indicated that two vehicles were involved in the crash.

According to the report, two people were transported to Cooper University Hospital with unspecified injuries.

No further information regarding the crash was provided

The cause of the incident remained under investigation.
